No SmokingHazel's is an historic Winthrop home located right in town on the old western boardwalk. Shopping, restaurants and a spa are directly adjacent to Hazel’s! Once your car is parked in Hazel’s three car driveway everything is just a few steps away.
Hazel's is a comfortable 5-bedroom house featuring two king and three queen beds, two bathrooms, a propane fireplace, electric heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a fully loaded spice drawer, coffee maker with grinder, 4 slot toaster, toaster oven, microwave, crock pot, cooking accessories, pots, pans, plenty of cutlery and more. You should have everything needed to create a gourmet meal!
There is a flat screen TV with a Bluetooth capable sound bar plus a blue ray DVD player. When teamed with Hazel’s wireless internet access it is possible to access your personal streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. accounts. Please note that Hazel’s does not have cable TV.
Musicians will enjoy Hazel’s wall hanging guitar, mandolin and ukulele. Enjoyable wall art! Venture out back to a fully fenced, peaceful and private large back yard perched above the Chewuch River. You would never know you are right in town. You'll find two picnic tables and several chairs in the backyard for outside dining. There is a seating area with a bistro table on the front porch with a pendant light if you want to watch the rhythm of the town while enjoying your favorite beverage on a warm summer evening.

We absolutely enjoyed staying at Hazel's. It's so conveniently right Downtown Winthrop to be able to walk and visit every shop or restaurant. It's beautiful and relaxing with friendly deer visiting in front yard early mornings. Comfortable beds, all spices and utensils/ pots and pans needed to make meals. We did miss having coffee provided and a washer/ dryer unit would have been a blessing. All in all I would suggest to everyone visiting that Hazel's is the place you want to stay.
Fantastic historic property RIGHT in downtown Winthrop. We stayed for four nights with our four young-adult children, and they were delighted to have the town at their doorstep and their own bedrooms. All was extremely clean and well-stocked, with an especially well-equipped kitchen. No dishwasher, but that’s what kids are for! We’ll definitely recommend Hazel’s to friends and look forward to visiting again!

We recently had the chance to head to Winthrop so that my10 year daughter could play in a hockey tournament. There were 8 of us that stay in the house very comfortably, 4 adults and 4 children (12, 10, 10, 6). Overall our stay was fantastic! The cabin is in the the perfect location, just at the end of "downtown." The cabin was clean, very well stocked, and had nice big bed rooms.

We were so excited to find this gem as we were supposed to be camping but were rained out. The house was perfect for two families with ample room to spread out. The location was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable.

Tom's Mom's House worked out perfectly for our group of four cross country ski friends--location, kitchen, dining, living area, bedrooms and mud room.
We are a group of 5 women up to WInthrop for skiing. WE each had our own room and shared 2 bathrooms/showers. The common area was spacious and comfortable with a gas stove. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and easy to use. Great location too!
My kids enjoyed playing the wide selection of games provided and the beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen is also very well stocked.
Hazel’s cabin is the ultimate Winthrop experience, with the perfect blend of authentic rustic and every creature comfort. The kitchen was the most completely suppled we’ve ever found in an AirB&B. Our group of six were quite happy to handwash dishes and play cards and Mahjongg in the evenings instead of TV time. And the location right in town was so sweet!
We had a wonderful time here. So nice to be walking distance to everything. House very nice and cozy.
Hazel's Cottage truly sleeps 10 comfortably in five bedrooms with queen or king size beds; no sagging sofa beds or cots here. The kitchen is stocked with virtually any utensils and cookware that you may need and includes a well-stocked spice cabinet. The location right in Winthrop's appealing old western village is very close to shops, galleries, restaurants and brew pubs, yet is dead quiet at night and provides easy access to ski and hiking trails throughout the Methow Valley.
