No SmokingLocated on the upper edge of the Town of Winthrop, on the high-bank of the Chewuch River, is Tom's Mom's house-Emma's House. Built in the 60's. It is a 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom rambler, with enough room to stretch out. Lots of light, with large windows that face east, south, and west. There is a patio out back that looks over the river gorge, at tree-top level....a picnic table, barbecue, and outdoor seating. There is room for your horse trailers, or snowmobile trailers to park, and it is an easy stroll to the old west Winthrop boardwalk shops and eateries. Not too much further up the road is the turn off to Pearrygin Lake.
Inside, the living room is large and spacious, with a nice dining area. A smart TV is available for people to enjoyed their fave streaming options. The kitchen is large enough for someone to make a mess, while someone else is trying to cook. (not a bad plan for a family house). Three bedrooms are 'down the hall', as are the 1.5 bathrooms. An universal Tesla Wall Connector 50amps, NACS & J1772 compatible is available for those with electric vehicle.

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious house. My daughter lives in Twisp and we were celebrating her wedding. Plenty of sleeping room for everyone. The washer and dryer was a big advantage. Close to shopping and trails. We enjoyed the mama deer and her babies every morning out the kitchen window. Everything worked great. Wifi was not the greatest, but that is common for this area. Would definitely stay again.
This place is only a 5-10 minute walk to town and the same drive time to the lake. Great location, private although close to the main road. Had everything we needed for 6 people
This is the perfect property in the perfect location. House is very comfortable & clean. We enjoyed our stay and will defiantly be back and recommend this home to others.
This house is a close walk to town and had everything we needed. I stayed there with my 6 year old daughter and our 5 month old puppy. We could easily walk into town to explore and eat, and it’s only a 5 minute drive to the lake. The house had all necessary stuff to cook our meals and it has A/C which worked really well.

Lovely property on the bluff overlooking the river, walking distance to downtown and all the unique shops and restaurants, and really convenient to Pearrygin Lake for those hot July days.
The space! Tom's Mom's place is bigger than our home in Seattle! Also the AC was much appreciated on this visit.
The property was well maintained and well stocked and comfortable. It was a short walk into the town of Winthrop. We enjoyed our stay.

We were a family of four adults and two children spending a long weekend in Winthrop and absolutely enjoyed our stay at the house. The big yard is great for sitting outside and visiting and the house is an easy walk into town (maybe 5 minutes or so). The house itself was comfortable and well appointed. There was plenty of everything and we were all comfortable. We'd certainly stay in the house on future trips and recommend the home to others.
Comfy accommodations, good location (a brief climb from town), quiet. We had everything we needed. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space as well. Reasonable cost too. Recommended.
This house is very spacious and conveniently located to the shops and restaurants in Winthrop (within walking distance). There are nice views from the windows and yard. There is a salt lick and deer frequent the yard in the morning and evening. There were also a variety of birds at a tree/bush with berries. The washing machine and dryer appear to be pretty new and work great. There were an assortment of spices available which was appreciated. Plenty of dishes, silverware, and even a few food storage containers (which you don't always find at rentals). There was soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, tissues - most of the incidentals that you would need. Communication was fine and the rental is very much as described.
